Archiving Policy

Digital archiving is a fundamental aspect of ensuring that scholarly content, such as journal articles, is preserved and remains accessible to readers over time. A variety of archiving platforms, including Internet Archiving, LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and other repositories, provide secure storage for content. These platforms employ cutting-edge technologies to protect digital materials, such as creating multiple copies and distributing them across various locations, which guarantees that data is always available, even if one copy is lost. The journal can trust that these archiving platforms will effectively preserve the article’s content for future generations to access and reuse.
Informative Journals utilizes the systems of the PKP Preservation Network, namely LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, to form a distributed archiving system among involved libraries. This framework allows those libraries to generate permanent archives of the journal for the purposes of preservation and restoration.

All articles that have been published in the Informative Journals are archived on a third-party cloud server in PDF format, along with their corresponding data and full texts. This cloud server is readily accessible to users on the internet. Moreover, all articles are archived and available on the Informative Journals website. The Informative Journals advises authors to quickly self-archive and publish their articles on institutional repositories or personal websites. These practices can significantly enhance citation rates and encourage productive exchanges among authors.
