The immune system plays a vital role in protecting the body against infections and diseases. Medicinal plants have been used for centuries to boost immunity and prevent diseases. Medicinal plants such as Echinacea, Garlic, Ginger, and Turmeric have been shown to possess immunomodulatory properties, which can help to boost the immune system and prevent diseases. Echinacea contains alkamides, which have been shown to stimulate the immune system and increase the production of white blood cells. Garlic contains sulfur compounds, which have been shown to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Ginger contains gingerol, which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Turmeric contains curcumin, which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Recent studies have demonstrated that these medicinal plants can help to boost the immune system and prevent diseases. This review aims to summarize the potential of medicinal plants as immunity boosters, current research on immunity booster medicinal plants, their phytochemical constituents, and mechanisms of action and their potential role in preventing diseases.
